Kathy is the owner of V.I.P. Tax & Accounting Services, Inc located in Kihei, Maui. She moved to Maui from Chicago Illinois in 1988, with her husband Vic. Since that time their entire family has moved to Maui and each of their three sons have started businesses, gotten married and had their children here.
Kathy has worked hard building the business, offering diversified services to their customers. With a desire to help those in need she strives to provide affordable services with excellence and integrity. VIP currently has a client base of more than 2,000 throughout Hawaii, the Mainland and Worldwide.
Over the years she has helped thousands of people with their tax returns, accounting needs, insurance, real estate, financial advice and notary needs, but, more than that she has been a friend, confidant and advisor to so many.
Kathy is much more than just a successful business owner. She is a woman that truly gives to others with an open heart and an open hand, without hesitation.
She has served not only this community, but on a state and national level on several boards. Currently she serves on the board for Feed My Sheep, Fishnet International Ministries, National Association of Tax Professionals Hawaii Chapter. In the past Kathy also served on the board of Women Helping Women, The Kidney Foundation, The National board for National Association of Tax professionals, Lanai Youth Center and Life Builders Christian Church.
Kathy attends Grace Bible Church, and just completed a 2 year Master’s Program in divinity through Every Nations Learning Institute.
She feels that her greatest accomplishment is the transition of business into ministry, as a Marketplace Minister, ministering to those she meets, extending the love of Christ and believing that it does make a difference.
